Located in Athlone, County Westmeath in the Athlone Shopping Centre. The Showcase was a four-screen cinema opened by Louis O’Sullivan in May 1992, at a time when there wasn’t any other cinema in the town. It closed in 1998 when he went into partnership with IMC and took charge of the new multiplex at the Golden Island Shopping Centre.
