The Dixie Theatre was opened in September 1913 in a conversion of the Bradshaw Bakery on S. Main Street near the corner of W. Buck Street. It had closed by 1926.

The Burleson County Ledger and News-Chronicle (Caldwell, Tex.) dated September 5th, 1913, stated that the Dixie Theatre would open next week.
