In Northwich, Cheshire, a 26 acre brownfield site alongside the River Weaver has been transformed into the Barons Quay retail and leisure development, with 80,000 square feet of retail opportunities, 24,000 square feet of restaurant and bar accommodation and new stores for Asda and Marks & Spencer. There are 900 limited time free car parking spaces.
A very significant leisure option is the Odeon, which opened on 15th December 2016 and offers RealD 3D and the immersive ISENSE experience.
Seating capacities (including Premier seats) are: 1:108 (36), 2:132 (33), 3:151 (39), 4:81 (26). The Premier seats are in the middle of these auditoriums. Screen 5 has 235 seats, all of which are Premier seats.

This is a very striking building, with the upper-level foyer commanding wonderful views over the River Weaver. I was made very welcome when I visited, in March 2017, to see “Kong: Skull Island”, starring Samuel L. Jackson and John Goodman.
