On the outskirts of the North Yorkshire town of Catterick, in an area known as Catterick Garrison (after the huge military base, reputedly Europe’s largest), the £25m Princes Gate Shopping Park and leisure development officially opened in September 2015.
The Empire multiplex opened on 23rd October 2015. The cinema occupies a stand-alone building, with a Prezzo restaurant on the ground floor and the cinema foyer and auditoriums on the upper floors.
Seating capacities are: Screen 1 (IMPACT screen): 247; Screen 2: 110; Screen 3: 127; Screen 4: 110; Screen 5: 86; Screen 6: 110 and Screen 7: 58. It was closed on July 6 2023 due to Empire Cinemas UK going into administration.

Under going refurbishment for leather recliners and armchairs/sofas. I think a mixture of normal seating and those mentioned above (like another Empire cinema) No detailsof prices for upgrades
Now closed due to Empire entering administration as of yesterday.
