The Skyline Drive-In was opened around 1954 when it was operated by James Booze. It was listed as being located in Verda to the east of Harlan, KY. It had closed by the 1980’s. Only the outline of the Skyline Drive-In remains.

It appears that it opened in either 1953 or 1954, and was gone in the 1980s. Stacey Lane wasn’t even extended until after the demolition of the Skyline, as the closest address to the entrance was located on 6380 KY-38.
