Soliders Memorial Hall opened in 1919(in Dalton Street). Yealering Hall opened in 1927 or 1928. Movies were screened from 1941 to 1966. The Soliders Memorial Hall was relocated to become the supper room for Yealering Hall(the original site is behind what is now the Co-op). Yealering Hall is still there, but no longer screens movies. The hall is now used by the RSL(Returned and Services League), and community events.
