The Grant’s Patch Hall was opened on 3rd March 1937 with a ‘Grand Ball. It was used as a community hall where movies were also screened. The Grant’s Patch Hall was closed in 1952 and demolished in the mid-1950’s. There is now nothing left of the former gold mining town.
