The Auburn Drive-In was opened on June 4, 1952 when it was operated by O.G. Roaden. Located west of the pharmacy at 18880 US-119, Cumberland, KY 40823. The screen foundation is still there. This theater closed on July 30, 1961 with Charlton Heston in “Ben Hur”. It was demolished in the late-1980’s.

Most likely operated as early as 1952. Almost everything remained standing until the late-1980s.
The Auburn Drive-In was another of J.E. Isaac, Sr.’s area properties for Cumberland Amusement Circuit. It opened June 4, 1952. It stopped advertising following “Ben Hur” on July 30, 1961.
