Opened by 1956. It was closed in 1998 following dame to the screen by a tornado. Now paved over with containers on the property. The address given says Roadside BBQ but Google maps points directly to the entrance of the theater.

Above address does not work, it places the pin on Google Maps several miles away from the location of the DI. 15866 U.S. 60, Irvington, KY 40146 will put the pin right at the exit road from the DI, the entrance road is gone.
I Believe It Opened Prior-1956. Found A Snipe On YouTube That Says Blant, KY. Not Sure Where Blant Is. Maybe A Former City.
Its not present in a 1955 aerial photo of the spot, it was still intact up to 1998.
Looks like its final season was 1998, a tornado ended up taking out the screen.
