Mullewa Town Hall

Located on the southeast corner of Maitland Road and Jose Street. Mullewa Agricultural Hall opened in 1912, and was renamed Mullewa Town Hall in 1913. The town hall was demolished in the 1930’s. A new Mullewa Town Hall was opened in(1935 or 1936?). Movies were screened from 1938 to the 1960’s when the Mullewa Drive-In opened. There was also a outdoor Picture Gardens on the other side of the Town Hall in Jose Street(dates of opening and operation unknown?). Movies were screened(16mm) in 1997 in 1997 to raise money for the painting of professional murals in the town. No other movie screenings known? The town hall is still there. Unknown if the outdoor Picture Gardens is still there?
