Gateshead Drive-In

Metro Drive-In opened on 20th February 1958. It was operated by Oakdale Drive-In Theatre Property Ltd. It was re-named Gateshead Drive-In in 1971. It was closed in the late-1980’s. The site is now an industrial area.

Skyline way, Gateshead. It is an industrial area with streets named after the drive in.

Name changed to Gateshead Drive-in in 1971.
