Opened on 2/9/1959 and closed on 8/9/1984 and sold by Greater Union to the Assemblies of God Church.
The Shandon was located on the present site of the Sunrise Christian School, address is 2 Sunrise Lane, Whyalla Norrie SA 5608. When looking for this drive-in I noticed the shape of the school had the classic drive-in look. I checked their website and I was right, they mention that the school was built in the late 1980’s where the drive-in stood.
