The South Coast Motor-Vu Drive-In opened in January 1959 and closed on 28th April 2001. The snack bar also served food and petrol to passing motorists during the day. The former driveway area is the main information bay for the town of Port Elliot(the petrol pumps have been removed). The rest of the site has demolished(awaiting redevelopment).

Opened ii January 1959 and closed on 28/4/2001. The Port Elliot drive-in only opened in summer? Also called South Coast Drive-in.
The site is now houses. The information bay is still there. Some of the back fence may still be there? Located on the north east corner of Port Elliot Road and Cinema Court.
The original name was “South Coast Motor-Vu Drive-In Theatre”. Also the correct capacity was 600 cars.
