This cinema and the Cinema 7 Annex (Movieplex) opened on June 23rd, 1995. Grand opening ad posted.

a piece of roof ended in the parking lot on December 31st, 1997.

It reopened at 25 percent capacity on June 5th, 2020 showing older movies after COVID-19.
