Located in the inner city district of South Melbourne at the corner of Reed Street and Victoria Avenue. The Dux Theatre opened in 1922 and was an open air theatre. It possibly was always a silent cinema. It was offered ‘For Sale’ in July 1936.

Building sold in 2015 for conversion to apartments on TV show THE BLOCK. Still standing but interior substantially altered
