David Wayside past operator of The Melton Twin - Requiem for a Picture Showman.

Located in the small town of Melton, northwest of Melbourne. Situated at the corner of McKenzie Street and Alexandra Street in a newly built shopping & entertainment building, the 663-seat Melton Twin was opened on 26th November 1982. Projection was via a periscope system. On 7th December 1995 a third screen was added. It was independently operated.

It was renovated in 2001 and reopened as the Agora Cinema. and was later renamed Melton Cinema centre. Date it closed is unknown and cinema part of the building is in use as squash courts.

Opened on 26/11/1982. 663 seats(1982 to;1995). A third screen opened on 7/12/1995. And 590 seats(1995 to 2001). Reopened in late 2001 after a renovation and renamed Agora. Later renamed Melton Cinema Centre. Number of seats now unknown?
