Located in Cologne city centre. The Modernes Theater was opened as a cinema on 31st October 1912. Seating was provided in orchestra and balcony levels. In 1934 it was re-named Gloria-Theater and in 1938 it was taken over by the Ufa chain. It was destroyed by Allied bombs in 1943.
