In Manchester city centre, HOME is a centre for international contemporary art, theatre and film. It opened on 24th April 2015 as part of the First Street development. HOME was formed by the merger of two Manchester-based arts organisations: Cornerhouse and the Library Theatre Company.

The project was funded by Manchester City Council, Arts Council England and the Garfield Weston Foundation. HOME operates under a service contract with Manchester Council stating that the centre will provide social benefit to the community.

The five cinema screens are situated at second floor level, behind a rather inconspicuous door. (Though in a nice touch, a Westar 35mm projector, used at Cornerhouse Cinema 2 from 1985 until the cinema closed in 2015, is on display by the door.) Seating capacities are: 1:249, 2:150, 3:58, 4:33 and 5:36.

Alongside the cinema screens, HOME has two live performance venues - a 500-seat theatre and 150-seat flexible studio - gallery space to display contemporary art, a café/bar and a restaurant.

The centre is part of the development of a creative quarter in the city.
