Located on the north side of Bayley Street, between Lefroy Street and Moran Street. The Coolgardie Town Hall opened in(1890’s), and first showed pictures in October 1900. Seating was provided for 300. The 250-seat open air theatre was added later (opening date unknown?). The hall and gardens operated were still open in 1969. The Coolgardie Town Hall is still there. The open air gardens bio box is still there, though no longer in use, with a small park in front of the bio box and the Coolgardie Town Hall. There may be an historial marker there? The Coolgardie Town (and open air gardens bio box?) may have been Heritage listed?

Correction – Coolgardie Town Hall and Gardens is on the north side of Bayley Street between Lefroy Street and Hunt Street. The town hall is also a museum and a church(name unknown?).
The gardens is now the park to the right of the town hall.
The address is 62 Bayley Street, Coolgardie. The museum is the Goldfields Exhibition Museum. The Coolgardie Town Hall also contains the Coolgardie Visitor Centre.
There is a new Coolgardie Town Hall(76 Bayley Street). No movie screening known in tne new town hall? The new town hall is also used as a musuem. The old town hall is now called Coolgardie Visitor Centre & Goldfields Exhibition Musuem.
