Located a short distance to the west of Florence city centre, the Cinema Fulgor is housed in a very attractive, evidently purpose-built and spacious building.
It is not known when it first opened. It ended its days with five screens, named after planets, rather than being numbered: Mercurio (“Mercury”), Marte (“Mars”), Giove (“Jupiter”), Nettuno (“Neptune”) and Venere (“Venus”). It was closed by June-2014, and stands unused in 2025.
