Ad from Wed., Aug. 15, 1945 Chicago Daily News showing what was playing at the Vision Theater

Located in the West Town neighborhood, not far from Humboldt Park, on W. Division Street, the Vision Theater was opened either late-1915 or early-1916, and could seat over 700. It operated into the 1950’s before closing, and appears to have since been demolished.

Across Division St and a few doors east ( W.) (once) stood the HARMONY Theatre, of similar size. Gone since the early ‘50s and that’s all I know.

(Not to be confused with another HARMONY on E. 43rd St.)
