Cinema Dacia

Alba Iulia is a city located on the Mureş River in Alba County, Transylvania, Romania.

The single screen Cinema Dacia was accessed through the base of a large apartment block.

(Many cinemas in Romania are called Cinema Dacia. This derives from the ancient land inhabited by the Dacians that corresponds principally to the present day countries of Romania and Moldova.)

The Cinema Dacia was closed in July 2014 with “Post Terra”. Since then the building has deteriorated and has decayed into a ruin, when in 2026 the city sealed up the former entrance to prevent acciess into the building.
