Located in Beziers in the south of France. The Excelsior-Palace was opened in 1924 with 1,600 seats. It was built inside and already existing apartment building. In 1932 it was renovated to the plans of architect Eugene Chirie and it was re-named the Cinema Palace. It was converted into a 5-screen cinema in the 1970’s. Closed in 2004, it re-opened in 2006 as the Cinemovida Le Palace, using two screen which had seating for 600 & 300.

The Cinemovida La Palace was badly damaged by a fire in May 2012. The cinema lay vacant and gutted until early-2022 when work began renovation, with possibly to convert into more apartments?
