Dave and Emily Huggins opened the Aspen Cinemas on December 18, 2015, at 12am with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens".
According to the Uinta County Herald, the former Valley 4 Cinema was completely renovated after the Huggins purchased it on July 17.
It was a complete renovation with all new lights, doors, floors, walls, concessions, bathrooms fixtures, drinking fountain, projection, sound equipment, screens, and curtains. They now have luxury recliners.
The theater was previewed on December 16 with a charity benefit showing of “The Cokeville Miracle” for the Boy & Girls Club of Evanston.
