Wessels of the Orpheum Theatre building and the 25 foot lot on which it stands from W.J. Franz, who built the theatre about four years ago. Me. Wessels was already the proprietor of the business and equipment of the Orpheum and henceforth, he will be located in his own property. It is understood that the consideration was $6,000.” The Orpheum Theatre was renamed Alden Theatre in December 1926 and closed in August 1928 to become a Safeway store.
