Located in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. A 57-seat boutique cinema opened in a former Co-op store and later nightclub called ‘The Trav’. The first film was “Blade Runner:the final cut”, screened on 12th November 2015. The proprietors are John Tate and Jack Hanson, and the cinema concept was inspired when John Tate and his wife went on holiday to Wanaka, New Zealand three years ago.
With comfortable and spacious seating, the Ilkley Cinema is the smallest 4K Digital cinema according to the local press. A bar is provided and an informal luxury aimed at all age groups, starting with baby shows is provided. On 31st August 2018 a second 41-seat opened.

The cinema is unusual in having an external glass walled lift taking wheelchair and other disabled guests up and down from the street to the foyer. This was tested by two CTA members!
A second screen, seating 41, backing on to the original auditorium, opened on 31st August 2018.
