Palladium Cinema

Located in Bideford, Devon. The Palladium Cinema was a very short-lived cinema, operating only from 1919 to 1926. Apart from that, all that is known is that occasional variety acts appeared with the films.

The main entrance, off Mill Street, is now home to Patt’s Stores, a fruit and vegetable retailer. The auditorium, accessed from Lower Gunstone, at the rear, is occupied by Fixit, an electrical repair shop, and, primarily, presumably, the Palladium Club, a live music venue that can hold 150 patrons, and has a separate snooker room.
