The Evergreen Theatre was opened prior to 1926. It was listed as seating 250 and (Closed) in the Film Daily Yearbooks of 1940 thru 1943. It had opened again by 1952.

Motion Picture Herald, Nov. 8, 1952: “Dewey Gates has sold the Trail, Evergreen, Colo., to B. A. Weil, a rancher of the area.”
After including it in a May 26, 1956 note about Denver-area theater closings, Motion Picture Herald wrote on July 14 that year, “W. B. Weil has reopened the Trail, Evergreen, Colo., after being closed most of the winter.”
