The Rialto Theatre was opened prior to 1926. A couple tidbits from contemporary issues of the Haxtun-Fleming Herald where the Rialto Theatre is mentioned very frequently in its “Times Past” section.

April 12th, 1930-“Rialto Theatre in Haxtun was equipped with the latest sound devices”

October 4th, 1970-“The Rialto Theatre Manager, G.I. Campbell, closed the theater after showing two films during Corn Festival”

Listed in the Film Daily Yearbook of 1955 as seating 350.
