The Star Theatre was opened prior to 1931 with 200 seats. It was listed in the 1932 edition of Film Daily Yearbook as (Closed). It was listed as a portable theatre with seating for 175 in the Film Daily Yearbooks of 1940 thru 1942. By 1950 it was listed with 250 seats and no longer ‘portable’.

The Film Daily of July 2, 1938 said that the Walden Theatre in Walden, Colorado, had been renamed the Star Theatre.
