Located in Dun Laoghaire to the south of Dublin. The Adelphi Cinema was opened around 1948. It was owned by Adelphi (Dun Laoghaire) Ltd. and managed by Associated British Cinemas(ABC). It was closed on 15th May 1971.

Adelphi closed 15 May 1971 when plans to turn the site into a supermarket were on the table.
This building has been demolished. Adelphi House apartments now replace the former cinema. At least the name lives on….
