A twin-screen theater located south of Lansing that originally screened first-run films but around 1976 went second-run. I remember the original “Star Wars (Episode IV, A New Hope”) ran at the Mason Twin in December 1977 after completing its original run at the AMC Meridian 8 in Okemos, itself now closed.

I am not sure when the Mason Twin opened or closed (it was still active in the summer of 1978, when my family and I moved from the Lansing area to the Chicago suburb of Glenwood, Illinois for five years). A Family Farm store currently occupies the portion of the plaza where the Mason Twin was located.

Anybody who can clarify or add more info to this, please feel free to do so.
