East Fremantle Town Hall opened on 21st May 1900. Many different educational an entertainment programmes took place in the hall, occasionally including moving pictures, but it was never used as a regular film screening venue. The East Fremantle Town Hall is still there, used as the offices for the East Fremantle Town Council.
