The Regent Open Air Pictures opened in the 1920’s beside the Vaudeville Theatre, taking into account the buildings that were already there, this may have been either at the rear of the theatre(facing onto Meadow Street, where the Guildford Hotel car park is now), or between the Guildford Hotel and the Vaudeville Theatre(on James Strret, where a narrow garden is now). Date of closure unknown? The Regent Open Air Picture was demolished(date unknown?).

The Regent Open Air Pictures might have been next door to The Regent Theatre on the right hand of the building or at the rear of the building?
