EVO Entertainment Cary

Located in the Parkside Town Commons Shopping Center, the CineBowl and Grille became the Triangle’s newest entertainment complex that opened to the public on July 10, 2015 under Frank Theatres. This theater was Frank Theatres first foray in the greater Raleigh-Durham market since this theatre chain has movie houses in other parts of North Carolina. This cinema has full stadium seating in all auditoriums with five auditoriums equipped with RealD “3D” capabilities and Sony digital cinema 4K projection along with Dolby Atmos 12.1 sound that offers dine and recline along with reserved seating and on-line/advance ticketing. It also includes in its largest auditorium an 85-foot long, five story tall FDX-Xtreme screen with digital projection that will specialize in showing bigger presentations. It also boasts a full entertainment center that includes not just the movie theatre but also a bowling alley, video arcade, and a full service restaurant all in one facility. It was closed in July 2021.

It was taken over by Paragon Theatres and reopened on December 16, 2021 as the Paragon Parkside & Xtreme. In January 2024 it was taken over by EVO Entertainment Group and renamed EVO Entertainment Cary.

On the Franks Theatre website this theatre is listed as the Parkside Town Commons Stadium 11 & Xtreme. It doesn’t list it as a CineBowl. Are their two theatre at this address

Name should be updated to Town Commons Stadium 11 & Xteme to match the name in the website.

According to Google Maps, the theater is currently listed as temporarily closed. When I looked on their website and clicked on the movies page, it redirected me to Paragon Theaters’ website with the Cary location on there. Looks like Frank Theatres no longer owns this theater, Paragon has taken over.

The auditoriums have been renovated heavily as of 2023 and some of them now feature Paragon’s Lux Box pod style seating, as well as Theater 1, the former FDX-Xtreme theater, being transformed to their signature AXIS15 Xtreme screen. The multiplex is now known as Paragon Parkside + AXIS15 EXTREME
