Cinemark closed and demolished the old Rave 12 screen on Universal Drive in June 2015 in order to build this new 57,202 square feet “NextGen” complex in its place. The theatre opened on July 23, 2015, featuring self-serve concessions, a bar, a “Cinemark XD” auditorium with a 68' wide screen, and luxury loungers in all auditoriums.

Need a little qualification here. If this theater was built on the site of the old Rave 12 the demo date could not have been one month before the opening of the new. June 2014?
I think they build it back of the original theater so once the new theater took shape, Cinemark can demolished and add parking places in time for the grand reopening
The old theater was built between the Nissan dealership and the Chick Fil A, if you look on Google Maps. That’s how they were able to replace it so quickly.
I saw glisten and the merry mission there at its first ever showing.
