Lux-Harmonie Kinocenter

On a visit to Heidelberg in June 2015 I discovered that the Lux Harmonie had closed on “29 January [presumably 2015] after more than 50 years”, according to a notice on the cinema’s website. Curiously, the announcement also said that “from the beginning, our mission was intended only as a temporary solution” and that “Heidelberg will soon receive a beautiful new [cinema]”.

The number of screens at closure is not known. However, the surviving poster case indicates there could have been as many as six.
