Located on Beach Road at the northeast corner of Dorchester Avenue. Warwick 8 cinema opened on 15th September 1993 with on(different screens) “Dave”, “So I Married an Axe Murderer”, “The Man Without a Face”, “The Firm”, “What’s Love got to do with It”, “Dennis the Menace”, “Coneheads”, “The Fugitive” and “Last Action Hero”. Another screen(Mega screen) was opened on 23rd March 1998. The cinema is still operating and the name was changed to Grand Cinemas Warwick(2013 or 2014?). Grand Cinemas (Australia) went out of business on 21st November 2022 and this Grand Cinema was taken over by Hoyts.

The opening day also included the film “Tina”.
The site before the cinema complex was a hotel or tavern(and bottle shop?),(called Warwick i think?).
