The Continental Gardens(also called Picturedrome) opened 1st June 1913 somewhere in the Hotel Continental. The Continental Gardens closed on 8th February 1921 with “The Trouble Makers” and “Coney Island”. The Continental Gardens and the Roebuck Picture Gardens both closed after the (owners?) of the Hotel Continental, and the Roebuck Bay Hotel had an arguement(reason unknown). Unknown if any of the gardens survive? The Hotel Continental is still there(now called-Mercure Inn Continental)
