The Agnew Picture Gardens opened in(1935 or 1938?) beside the hotel. The gardens had chairs and space for cars to drive in and park and watch from the cars. The Picture Gardens closed in 1939. The Picture Gardens reopened in 1946 and closed in 1948 or 1949.
