The Rice Drive-In was opened in 1947. In 1955 it was operated by George Rice and Stearn-Hanna Co-Operative Theatre Services. The Rice Drive-In was closed in the late-1950’s.

Some information from the net.
Not sure if you are aware of this old track or not. It sat right behind where the current Lincoln High School sets in Shinnston on property owned by George Rice who owned a drug store in Shinnston. It was one of the most unique facilities I have ever seen to this day. It was both a drive in theater and ¼ mile dirt race track, a real multi use facility back in the middle of the 50’s.. The concession stand was under the screen and also served as the concession stand for the track on nights (or days) the track operated.
