Nearby Theaters
The Strathfield Drive-In opened on 8th February 1961. The drive-in closed in the late-1970’s. The fences and gate/s,and entrance(and exit?) road(off Oxley Road were north of the intersection of Carew Street. The ramps and the snack bar/bio box were incorporated in the house on the site. A tall light pole(and light on top-used for lighting the drive-in at night) is still there.

The fences(and gates?) are still there too.
Approximate address is 7 Oxley Rd, part of the screen foundation may still exist as well. The property was sold in 2010 and according to the listing the old concession building was turned into a games room.
Exhibitor was Great Southern Drive-ins Cinema P/L(1961 to(1978 or 1979?)).
