The Majestic Theatre was opened in 1915. It was closed on February 9, 1930. Appleton’s smallish Majestic Theatre downtown began selling its seats and furnishings including its two-manual Barton organ in local classified advertisements, the advertisements being placed by representative A. Levinsohn.

Apparently the Barton organ was sold to the Emmanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church, in Appleton, and though rebuilt and moved, remains there and in use.
