Located in the inner city north Paris district of Montmartre. Originally the Taverne Pousset restaurant, the 800-seat Ritz was opened in 1937. It played mainly ‘B’ pictures and eventually went over to screening erotic films. It was closed on 3rd November 1992. It has been converted into a supermarket.
