Located in the north Paris inner city district of Montmartre. The Atomic was opened on 24th March 1948. It had a seating capacity of 172, including a balcony. In the 1960’s it was screening ‘erotic’ films. On 12th November 1980 it was twinned and re-named Amsterdam Clichy on 17th December 1980 with seating provided for 140, split between the two screens seated 76 & 64. It went over to screening adult pornographic movies and closed on 24th February 1984.
Today a McDonald’s restaurant operates from the building.
