Flamman Cinema

Located in a sub-basement of a block of flats at the corner of Hornsgaten and Langholmsgaten on Sodermalm. The Flamman Cinema was opened on 3rd February 1930. Seating was provided for 682 in the orchestra and 263 in the balcony.

The Flamman Cinema was closed on 22nd January 1963. It became a discotheque, and is now in retail use.

Flamman – flame (fire). In mid 60ies there was a fire in the property’s boiler!
