Located in Jennings Street, off Rodbourne Road, in the district of Robourne, to the north of Swindon, Wilshire. The Palladium Cinema was opened around 1928/1929. It was built and operated by Even Swindon Cinema Ltd. and had 750 seats at its opening. It was equipped with a RCA sound system.
The Palladium Cinema was closed by 1962 and was converted into a bingo club and when that closed it became a printers workshop. On 1st March 2017 it became a community arts centre named The Balcony.

When bingo ceased, it became a printers workshop. A deal was struck by a local teacher with the landlord to convert the building into a community arts centre. This opened on 1st March 2017, and is called The Balcony.
