King's Bastion Cinemas

The twin cinemas are incorporated in a new build within the historic King’s Bastion, which had previously been used for a power station after military use ceased. The Leisure Centre opened on 1st March, 2008 and also offers fitness, bowling, disco, dining out etc. The cinemas are run by Film Exhibitors Ltd., and will have replaced the Queen’s Cinema (qv) which the government bought for a National theatre in 2013. The cinemas offer disabled access, digital projection and conference facilities.
