It closed on Saturday 2 August 1958 with “Woman in a Dressing Gown”. The premises were used as a nightclub for several years and then for commercial purposes. When photographed in June 2005 the building was boarded up and it was demolished shortly after. The site was vacant in 2014. By May 2018 shops and flats have been built on the site.
