Previous Names: Majestic Theatre, Gem Theatre, Playhouse, Rialto Theatre, Family Theatre
The Majestic Theatre was opened around 1910 with 297 seats. It became the Gem Theatre in 1923. Around 1929 it became the Playhouse and in 1930 briefly was renamed Rialto Theatre before reverting back to the Playhouse name. It was listed as (Closed) in the Film Daily Yearbooks of 1933 & 1934.
After a remodle it reopened as the Bremen Theatre August 23, 1934 with Joe E. Brown in “ A Very Honorable Guy”. In the 1980’s it became the Family Theatre and was renamed Bremen Theatre in 2000. It now has all digital sound and projection showing first run attractions.
